Senior 10 Trip to Bay of Naples
Senior 10 Geography, Classics and Latin pupils had a wonderful time in Italy during the Easter holidays.
Based in the delightful town of Sorrento, pupils embarked on an unforgettable journey through the wonders of classical Italy, exploring the ancient sites of Pozzuoli, Pompei and Ercolano, and hiking onto the crater rim of Mount Vesuvius.
A visit to Capri brought new adventures as they took a boat trip to see the amazing cliffs and caves, and hiked up to a stunning viewpoint at Villa Jovis, enjoying far-reaching vistas across the Bay of Naples.
Back in Sorrento, pupils discovered the art of making traditional artisan gelato and sampled their favourite flavours, before taking part in a cookery masterclass. Making their own pizza dough, they added their toppings before baking their creations in a traditional wood fired oven - they were absolutely delicious!
