Choral Evensong at Southwark Cathedral
The Ibstock Choristers sang Choral Evensong at Southwark Cathedral to a congregation of parents and members of the public.
The choristers rehearsed throughout the afternoon and enjoyed a private tour of the cathedral, in which the cathedral organist demonstrated how loud the organ can play! The choristers sang beautifully in the service, and special mentions must go to Edie (Senior 9) and Victoria (Senior 8) for singing solos. It is the last time that the Senior 9 members will sing a service as choristers, and we thank them for their commitment and skill over the past year.
We are looking forward to our next performance at St John’s, Smith Square on Friday 27th September.
