For environmental reasons we encourage visitors and pupils to come to School by public transport, walking, cycling or lift sharing.
If travelling by car, please note that the use of our small Visitors' Car Park is by prior arrangement. There is limited parking on the surrounding roads and we ask you to be mindful of our neighbours. Further parking spaces may be found in Roehampton Gate car park of Richmond Park.

Minibus ShuttleTo encourage use of public transport for Senior pupils, we run a complementary minibus shuttle service to and from Barnes railway station. The first minibus leaves Barnes station at 7.15am and the last bus leaves School at 6.00pm. There is no charge for this service. Barnes Station is easily accessed from stations including Putney, Wandsworth Town, Chiswick, Kew Bridge, Clapham Junction, Queenstown Road, North Sheen, Richmond and St Margaret's. |
We encourage cycling to school and there are a large number of bicycle racks on School grounds for pupils to securely store and lock their bikes.
HomeRun AppThe HomeRun App helps us to reduce car journeys and associated CO2 emissions on journeys to and from School, helping towards our Net Zero goals. HomeRun provides an innovative, secure and moderated digital service that connects Ibstock parents and staff to greener travel options, including active travel and carsharing. The app also provides anonymised journey information that we can use to promote new environmentally sustainable travel initiatives and supports us in developing our travel plans. |
