The CWIZZ
Two teams of pupils competed in the CWIZZ, an annual book quiz run by the Children's Writers and Illustrators for Stories and Literacy (CWISL).
The competition put pupils’ book knowledge to the test and covered a wide scope, from Greek mythology and classic fiction to contemporary graphic novels. As well as testing their literary prowess, pupils also had the opportunity to meet CWISL authors and buy signed copies of their books.
Congratulations to our A Team who scooped second place out of approximately 35 teams!
Our teams will be in action again in the Spring, competing in the National Reading Champions tournament run by the National Literacy Trust and we wish them the best of luck!
