Gold Duke of Edinburgh Trip to Snowdonia
Our Duke of Edinburgh Lower Sixth Form pupils took on the wilds of Snowdonia last weekend for their Gold practice expedition.
Over the course of three thrilling days of hiking, they not only conquered the majestic Snowdon massif, but also tackled the rugged peaks of the Glyderau and the vast, imposing Carneddau range.
Each day brought new challenges, from scrambling up steep ridges to navigating rocky paths, all under breathtaking Welsh skies. By the end, it felt like more than just a weekend; it was an unforgettable adventure that not only bonded them as a team but also served as fantastic preparation for their next big challenge—tackling the Pyrenees next year.
