Prep 4 Visit to the London Transport Museum
The intrepid Prep 4 pupils ventured to central London for a day at the London Transport Museum.
During the 'Coding the Capital' workshop, they used colour-coded tiles to program trains, learning to prevent crashes, reduce energy use, and promote public transport. After lunch, they explored all three museum levels, discovering transport history and admiring the impressive vehicle collection. Instead of taking a coach back, 34 children and 9 adults applied their learning by riding the District Line from Embankment to Putney Bridge. Throughout the trip, the children received compliments on their exemplary behaviour, representing the school wonderfully.
Many thanks to the parent volunteers and staff who made this enriching experience possible.
